We just received our last regularly scheduled scarf order today. We have
some great new designs! We also received some great new scarf rings, as
shown in the attached pictures. These are just in time for Mother's Day

5/7/12 - RETIREMENT SALE!
Dear Friends:
I would like to share some exciting news with you. After
over 30 years in business, I’ve decided to retire from
retailing. The Unicorn will close forever in late June or
early July so that I can finally spend more time with my
family and do a little bit of traveling.
To me, the best part of being in business has been meeting
people like you, getting to know them and helping them
celebrate the milestones in their lives. Like the mother who
has made a special trip to The Unicorn to buy a wreath as a
housewarming gift for her daughter’s first home; and the
gentleman who came in to purchase jewelry for his wife to
celebrate the birth of their child; and the retired couple
who stop in during their daily walk Downtown just to say
hello.
The relationships I’ve developed over the years with The
Unicorn’s customers are priceless to me, and this, I will
miss more than you will ever know. So I’d like to say to
each and every one of you, “Thanks for the memories”. I
invite you to stop in to say goodbye and maybe pick up a
bargain or two during our Retirement Sale.
I’m looking forward to seeing you all, and once again,

Bags and Special Sale Hours
Here are pix of the Jam Bags I told you about. Jam Bags are made out
of recycled plastic water bottles. Regular price was $4.99 but they are
included in our Retirement Sale at 30% off. Sale price would be $3.50.
And by the way, special hours for the sale are as follows:

Light A Candle, Feed a Child Campaign

We have received an order of "Light a Candle, Feed a Child"
candles from Bridgewater. When you buy one of these candles, the
proceeds will feed one orphan for one week. Partnering with
RiceBowl International, Bridgewater has produced a limited
number of these soy based candles. The price is $21.99. Please

customers in an effort to raise money for less fortunate animals.
